Meet Tyler Spencer | Co-Owner & CAD/CAM Engineering Technologist

Growing up on a grain farm near Kinistino, Saskatchewan, Tyler developed an early understanding of equipment, fabrication, and practical problem-solving. His extensive experience in CAD, manufacturing, and fabrication has contributed to thousands of engineering and design projects across multiple industries.

Tyler specializes in transforming ideas into practical, buildable solutions. His combination of hands-on experience, innovative thinking, and deep understanding of manufacturing processes ensures that projects are designed with constructability and efficiency in mind from the very beginning.

Meet Brent Yeske, P.Eng. | Co-Owner & Industrial Systems Engineer

At Method Engineering & Design Inc., practical engineering is built on close collaboration with contractors, grounded in industry best practices, experience, and technical knowledge.

Brent graduated from the University of Regina in 2016 and has built a diverse career across structural, civil, oil & gas, agricultural, and industrial sectors. He holds Professional Engineering designations in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta and has contributed to projects throughout Western Canada.

With a strong belief that engineering should be practical, constructable, and collaborative, Brent helps clients navigate challenges from concept development through project completion. His experience spans a wide range of industries, giving him a unique perspective on designing solutions that work both on paper and in the field.

Now under new ownership, we’re a design and engineering firm based in Melfort, Saskatchewan, specializing in brownfield work: retrofits, alterations, and additions to existing facilities. Our focus areas are structural engineering, fabrication consulting, and grain system design.

We design with constructability in mind from the start. Rather than operating our own fabrication shop, we source, tender, and support the build through trusted external fabricators — giving clients the benefit of independent, unbiased design paired with hands-on support through construction.
