Thirteen Instruments The only monobloc semi-hollow aluminum guitar brand They crossed path again at university where they both studied mechanical engineering.

Louis and Francois met in high school, where they formed a band together, sharing their passion for blues, jazz and good rock music. Today, each with a 15 year experience in professional aerospace design, they’ve decided to transfer their professional knowledge to design and creation of revolutionary music instruments. This is achieved by building virtual 3D prototypes, predicting vibrations and s

ound by finite element analysis (FEA) and using new materials with their associated novel manufacturing processes. Thirteen instruments is a private owned company, based in Montreal, Qc, Canada, dedicated to the design and manufacturing of “boutique guitars” and other music instruments. We offer either professional musicians, or simply guitar aficionados, instruments of exception designed and made from state of the art engineering. We produce micro series and/or custom built guitars to you specifications, sold directly from us.
