Let’s shine a little spotlight on Von. ✨

Von is the V in V&M, and if you know him, you know he cares a lot about the details. Like... A LOT! 😅 With more than 20 years in the industry, he brings experience, craftsmanship, and pride to every project.

His path into construction began working alongside his father during the early stages of a small family business, and that lead him to pursue carpentry more seriously. With an entrepreneurial spirit, he built V&M alongside his wife Meg, and believes the best work happens when people feel looked after from start to finish.

At the end of the day, he’s all about doing good work for good people, and building something his family can be proud of too.

This kitchen went from dark, cramped, and disconnected to bright, functional, and beautifully connected to the rest of the home.

To bring the space together, we:

➡️ Continued the existing flooring into the kitchen for a seamless flow
➡️ Crafted custom coloured cabinets, designed by Heirloom Custom Cabinetry and the homeowners, to maximize storage
➡️ Carefully matched the coffee bar backsplash to the living room fireplace tile
➡️ Installed Taj Mahal Leathered Quartzite for the countertops and backsplash for a refined finishing touch

The result? More storage, cleaner lines, and a kitchen that feels dramatically bigger, brighter, and more inviting for simple everyday moments.

What does 8 weeks into a whole-home rebuild look like?

The incredible transformation of our project has reached another milestone, and things are really taking shape.

The trusses are up, the beautiful timberframe has begun, and the small details are starting to come together. The scale, character, and craftsmanship of this home are already shining through.
