Here’s a project we just finished up. A local farm has a field that was only accessible by bridge, the existing bridge had seen the effects of time with large rust holes and an un drivable deck. We made the decision that it was time for an upgrade. With help from an experienced operator we removed the old bridge. For the replacement we choose an aluminum highboy trailer that was no longer road worthy. After a day of cutting the axles, landing gear, and air tanks off the aluminum trailer. It was ready to start a new life as a bridge. Unfortunately a few cracks grew along the front and back of the trailer during transportation. After being placed in its new home we came back to site with a few more tools and got the cracks repaired and all the sharp edges removed. Now it’s safe for the farm to bring tractors and other equipment to their field without the risk of flat tires or tractor is the creek.

Beautiful day to fix an Orchard Rite wind machine for had to park my truck 100 feet away from the wind machine due to wet fields and two wheel drive. These fans are mounted to a thick concrete pad with four, two foot long anchor bolts which have a big nut holding the fan down to the concrete pad. In this case it was snapped off nearly flush with the fl**ge on the fan and removing the concrete pad just to replace one anchor wasn’t a cost effective solution due to the age of this fan. I was able to make a new washer out of 3/8” plate at my shop and weld it to the broken anchor bolt on site.
