Does your project leave the community stronger than you found it? 🤝

Kʷasən-Naikoon set an ambitious goal for social procurement at Cedar Cottage. Today, we celebrate two major outcomes: awarding $5.5M (36% of the contract) to IBPOC trades, and providing ongoing cultural safety training for every site visitor.

Partners like Jeury Garcia of JG Pacific Concrete value this opportunity to build meaningful connections with a First Nation. When we "paddle together," we drive the current of economic redevelopment.

At Kʷasən-Naikoon, we’re building a hub for the community while strengthening the local economy.

We've reinvested $5.5M directly into the Vancouver IBPOC community through a robust social procurement, and the Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood House community is cheering this progress on.

It's How We Build.

What do you think - should social procurement be the new baseline for the industry? 💬

Are your partners actually "paddling together," or just sitting in the same boat? 🛶

At Kʷasən-Naikoon, we are prioritizing the "how". That’s why we look to the 4-stage canoe analogy from Kʷasən Enterprises: by ”paddling together," we’re moving forward in sync.

How do you ensure your teams stay in sync?
