I added skirting boards to these two back decks recently. The client asked to add two access points for their septic clean outs on the main deck. And I also clad the bases of three support posts to hide the post brackets. A fun few days!

House Update! Since my last house update I have installed our new flooring, installed our light fixtures, assembled and installed our kitchen cabinets, chosen countertop/sink/taps, installed our new LG induction range, hung all of our art back up on the walls and next step is baseboards/finishing touches. Fingers crossed that our counters are installed before Christmas!

Big changes are coming for my latest client! I gave their kitchen, living room, entrance and hallways a fresh coat of paint in anticipation of their brand new flooring happening in a few weeks. I’ll be back once the flooring is installed to get their new baseboards in place. I can’t wait to see this place all freshened up for this fantastic family!

The last month and a half have been all about working on my own house. It started with a little kitchen reno that quickly turned into a full gut and rebuild. New insulation, vapour barrier, subfloor and drywall are all in place. We are in a time crunch due to the cold weather arriving and having to temporarily remove our mini split to complete the work, so we hired on a fantastic drywall finisher to wrap that part up while I focused on other parts of the job. And a special shout out to my Dad, who was my extra set of hands, so that I could get the drywall up on the ceiling faster too! It’s all coming together! 😊
