The Manotick project is really taking shape! 🏗️💎

We’ve been sharing progress on this massive armourstone retaining wall over the last few weeks, and the transformation is incredible. Our team is currently dialled in on the final grading and slugging to ensure every stone is locked in perfectly.

As you can see, the scale of this build is significant—reaching heights of up to 10 feet in sections. We are moving fast to wrap up the structural phase so we can transition into final landscaping. It’s all about precision and stability when you’re working with stone this size.

From Vision to Reality on Sand Lake! 🌲🏗️

We are excited to announce a new full-scale cottage project in Elgin, Ontario. We will be moving onsite at Sand Lake to begin the transformation of this beautiful waterfront property.

For this build, we are collaborating with the expert team at Kollaard Associates (Kemptville) to ensure every technical and structural detail is spot on. Smith Earthworks will be managing the heavy lifting from start to finish, including:

Demolition of the existing structure.

Precision Foundation excavation and install.

Full Septic System design and installation.

Final Landscaping to wrap up the new look.

The weather is finally cooperating, and the team is making incredible progress on this massive shoreline transformation. We are currently installing 130 feet of premium Armor Stone, reaching heights of up to 10 feet at its peak! 🧗‍♂️

The homeowners are so thrilled with the transformation that we’ve actually increased the scope of the project to add even more functional beauty to the property. It’s a massive undertaking, but the results are going to be legendary.
