"Batteries help optimize wind, solar, hydro and nuclear power resources by allowing electrical grid operators to store the power that is generated when demand is low. The power can then be injected back into the grid when demand is high. Doing so lowers costs and helps harden the grid against power failures." (Financial Post, May 7, 2025)

Today, we proposed a new location for our battery storage project in West Carleton!

The new project, South March BESS, will be built onto the transmission line going down Marchurst Road. It will plug right into South March substation - serving the residents of West Carleton and greater Ottawa.

That means fewer blackouts, lower electricity bills, less emissions and more local jobs.
