Pre-fill, tape, and one coat of sheetrock + a bit of mud added, done with the same mix.

Let it set until the sweet spot where it’s not too hard.

Scrape the edges and use the wet-ish scrapings to fill voids/flatten further.

The customer wanted clean lines on this one. Windows with no casing, hidden sensor wires, and the drywall installed around his bike rack so that it was mounted directly to the framing for maximum stability. I told him “there’s a bead for that”

We used giant L bead for the windows, deflection bead for hiding the sensor wires, while still giving you access to them, and tear-away L bead for around the mounting brackets and the bottom of the drywall to the concrete sill.

(Don’t forget to reverse your saw blade when cutting)
