Exciting progress on site! 🚧💧

The water is officially on at the build — a big milestone! Today, PVG Plumbing was onsite installing backup pumps for the sump systems in all units, while Kraun Electric Inc. got to work installing plenty of electrical outlets (and we mean plenty ⚡).

Fluorescent lighting is on the way out.

And waiting to upgrade to LED may soon cost you more.

Canada has begun phasing out many mercury-containing lights, meaning businesses still using fluorescent lighting will eventually need to switch to LED.

The question isn’t really if you’ll upgrade.
It’s how much it will cost when you do.

We’ve been hearing from our electrical material suppliers that incentive support is expected to decrease in April 2026, making these upgrades more expensive in the near future.

If your business has many fluorescent fixtures, that cost difference can add up quickly.

An LED upgrade is an upfront cost, but the impact on operating costs can be noticeable almost immediately, especially in buildings with a large amount of fluorescent lighting.

So if your building is considering an LED upgrade in the near future, this is one of those times when "don’t wait" really applies.
