Hey everyone!

As MetSoc is coming to an end for this year, we are having upcoming elections. Anyone can run for any position!

Positions:
President
-In charge of managing meetings and distributing tasks to exec members
Secretary
-Takes down meeting minutes and assists the President with communicating with faculty and preparing documents
Treasurer
-In charge of the chapter's finances
Graduate Representative
-Advertises and keeps the graduate students updated on events
Undergraduate Representative
-Advertises and keeps the undergraduate students updated on events

We have two new positions for the upcoming year!

o Emails, etc.
· VP external
o Advertisement, etc.

Hey Everyone! We have our fundraiser running this next couple of weeks! Come and get a sweet gift of an elegant box of chocolate covered strawberries for only 5$! We will have stalls set up in the Engineering building from Feb 2nd - 5th and in the Arts tunnel on Feb 10th - Feb 11th. It is highly encouraged to come purchase during our pre-sell timings. Volunteers would very much be appreciated to come help out in the making of the goods or manning the stalls. Hope to see everyone come out and participate! More details in the poster attached!

CIM Saskatoon is hosting a Mineral Processing night. There is going to be a technical presentation by University of Saskatchewan's Dr. Shafiq Alam, who will talk about new mining and mineral processing options for students in geological, chemical, and mechanical engineering disciplines.

Where: Sheraton Cavalier (Centre Room)

When: Thursday, November 19th - doors open at 6:15 PM

Price: Tickets are only $10 for students and include a warm buffet-style meal, dessert, and wine at the table prior to the featured presentation.
