Figure I'd start sharing a few of my side projects, because why not?

First time working with stainless steel and my first time building a custom car exhaust. Everything is tacked up and ready for full welds.

As the snow begins to melt, it’s important to make sure your eavestroughs aren’t leaking and that water isn’t pooling against your foundation.

The immediate concern is water in your basement causing damage.
However, one of the more serious (and expensive) long-term issues is foundation damage. In my experience, majority of the foundation problems I’ve seen are caused by water, often due to leaking eavestroughs or missing/damaged downspouts. More info in caption.

If you’re noticing:

- Water pooling near your foundation
- Poor grading around your home

Final product of the custom-built shaker-style doors. It’s impressive how such a small addition can dramatically transform the feel of a home, especially in older houses where these pantry spaces are so common.

Even through the paint was purposefully sprayed with a slight orange peel texture, a high quality self levelling paint will still dry smooth.

Perfect for doors and trim to get that "New Build" look.

Epoxy garage floor, with 100 % coverage vinyl flakes. Finished with a polyaspartic clear coat.

Epoxy vs Polyaspartic? While both are great options, Polyaspartic stands out in two key ways.

1. Superior flexibility and Impact Resistance. Polyaspartic is softer and more malleable, this flexibility helps absorb impacts, reducing the chance of chipping or cracking. It also hides scratches exceptionally well and is very low maintenance.

2. UV Stability and Long-term durability. Unlike epoxy, Polyaspartic is UV resistant, meaning it wont yellow or become brittle over time.

Upgrade your garage or basement with a floor built to outlast everything you throw at it.

Did you know?

Magic Erasers (melamine foam sponges) remove marks and stains by microscopically scratching the surface. This abrasion lifts scuffs and dirt, but it also removes a small amount of paint in the process.

As a result, repeated or aggressive use can dull glossy or semi-gloss finishes. In worse cases, it can remove paint entirely, exposing the primer or even bare wood.

This is why I do not recommend using Magic Erasers on high-finish surfaces such as cupboards or exterior doors, especially those with a glossy finish. As repairs can be difficult and costly.

Attached is a photo illustrating the progression of damage. From dulling of the painted surface to full paint removal exposing primer and bare wood.
