We repair fuel tanks often.
This one was repaired and patched a few times unsuccessfully. Usually the baffles inside break and the welds fatigue from oil canning, we cut the bottom out of this one, cleaned it, reinforced and added more baffling, adding to the structure of the tank. New heavier bottom, tig welded. Air/soap tested and hydro tested to make sure there's no leaks.
Back in service and a happy customer!!
