The ground at this 200x80 riding arena was too hard to auger. We had to get the entire perimeter trenched. 540' of 7'6 trench in Chilcolton hard pan.

We were able to set 200' of Permas and fill the rest of the trench to height with base rock. We will be back after the Christmas holidays to finish up the foundation and get the building up.

It is not very often that we show up to foundations that are not workable. The client decided to go with a local contractor for the foundation work and purchased the building directly from an overseas manufacturer.

Unfortunately the anchor bolts were out of alignment by more than the allowable tolerance, and the manufacturer did not meet CWB standards.

We cannot stress the importance of purchasing your Pre-engineered steel building from a reputable manufacturer and have the foundation and anchor bolts surveyed and double checked with tape measures and strings.

These are all services we can provide.
