Wow! What a season!

We knew there was only one real test—put TrawlSense on working boats and let the season do the talking.

To every captain and crew who welcomed us aboard, thank you. Your trust, feedback, and support have been invaluable. Every conversation on the wharf, every phone call, and every suggestion has helped us build a better product.

To everyone who reached out, followed along, or asked about TrawlSense, thank you. We never imagined this level of interest in our first season, and we’re grateful for every bit of it.

The season may be over, but our work is far from finished.

Over the coming months, we’ll be building on everything we’ve learned, implementing the improvements suggested by our pilot users, refining the system, and getting ready for our full rollout in September 2026.

From our shop to your wheelhouse—thank you.

See you on the wharf.

Still guessing on what your last trawl did?

We’re closing in on spring lobster season — and we’re fired up to get this first-of-its-kind technology into fishers’ hands.

If your goals this season are:
— More accurate numbers
— Quick insight into what’s producing (and what’s not)
— Less stress on the water

Then this is the setup you want aboard your boat.

You’re already putting lobster somewhere after measuring them…
Why not put it somewhere that works for you?

TrawlSense gives you instant insights — without the headaches.

With 20 tables leaving the shop soon for install, one will be available to move boat-to-boat for anyone willing to test it out.

We’ll also have a display unit on the road all spring, so keep an eye on the page to see where we’ll be next.

Your Fleet’s Digital First Mate

02/02/2026

Quit relying on your head to count your catch!

We’re excited to announce the pilot release of TrawlSense — your fleet’s digital first mate.

TrawlSense is a rugged, purpose-built catch analytics system designed for commercial lobster boats — and the best way to track your catch without the stress, the guessing, or the “what was in that last one?” look.

How it works

TrawlSense is a heavy-duty aluminum lobster handling station with built-in automated counting technology. The table creates a Wi-Fi connection onboard your vessel, allowing any device (iPhone, iPad, or tablet) to run the system — and you can have multiple screens running at once.

On your device, you’ll see:

— Live counts from the trawl you’re hauling
— Maps + hotspots showing where your trawls are producing (or failing)
— Catch analytics across your entire season — all in one place

On the table, you’ll have:

— Integrated lobster counting technology
— Space for 2 fish pans or logitechs
— Room for up to 56 market banding tubes

Together with TrawlSense, we’re pushing the envelope for better yield, better quality, reduced fuel costs, and no recurring fees — while making your day smoother and your numbers more accurate.

📍We’ll be hitting harbours all over PEI this spring with a demo.

Get in touch if you’d like to learn more or join the 2026 pilot team.

See everyone soon!
