A question we get asked a lot at Lane One Homes is why we choose steel framing over traditional wood.

The short answer is predictability and strength. When you're building modular homes that eventually need to be transported and craned onto a foundation, the structure can't flex or warp. Steel gives us perfectly straight walls, incredibly tight tolerances, and the rigidity to handle the journey from our shop to your site.

Plus, steel doesn't shrink or settle over time. That means fewer drywall cracks, no rot, and a tighter, more energy-efficient home for the long haul. It’s just about building a better, more reliable structure from day one.
