What began as a family business in 1996 in the Ottawa region founded by their father, Jim Stroud and has grown into a trusted name in screening solutions across Quebec and Ontario. For the past seven years, Moustiquaire à Domicile has focused on serving Montreal and the surrounding areas, bringing decades of experience and a strong family foundation to every project.

Their journey has taken them far and wide, with installations spanning from remote northern regions all the way to the U.S. border. Along the way, they’ve installed an impressive volume of Mirage retractable screens.

Moustiquaire à Domicile specializes in Mirage Screen Systems, along with motorized and fixed screen solutions. Their approach is simple yet powerful: provide complete “any-screen” solutions. Whether it’s doors, windows, patios, or oversized openings, their team is known for finding the right solution for every space.

With a tight-knit team of five and trusted subcontractors during peak seasons, they maintain a hands-on, hardworking approach to every project. Jacob brings nearly 20 years of experience on the installation and construction side, while David focuses on the business and financial operations. Creating a strong balance that drives their success.

This business truly runs in the family. Jacob and David grew up in the industry, helping at trade shows as kids and learning the trade from the ground up. As they like to say, they didn’t choose this industry it chose them.
