You check your bank account.

You track your bills.

You know when your mortgage is due.

You probably even know what homes in your neighbourhood are selling for.

But when was the last time you checked the health of the home you’re paying for? 🏠

Because here’s the thing…

Most expensive home problems don’t start as expensive problems.

They start as small things you didn’t know to look for.

An overdue maintenance item.
A system showing early warning signs.
Something that’s been slowly getting worse.

And unless you work in the trades… how would you know?

That’s why we’re thinking about offering homeowners a simple Home Health Score — a quick review to help you understand:

→ What looks good
→ What needs attention
→ What you should plan for next
→ What could potentially cost you later

No scare tactics. No guessing. Just a better understanding of the home you’re spending thousands of dollars on every year.

But before we build this, we want to know if homeowners actually want it.

If you’d want someone to help you understand what needs attention in your home BEFORE it becomes an expensive surprise…

Comment SCORE below. 👇

If enough homeowners want it, we’ll make it happen.

If I could tell every homeowner to keep 3 basic tools in their house, these would be them. 🏠🔧

Here’s why I recommend them:

📏 1. Tape Measure
You’d be surprised how often we ask homeowners for a measurement when they call us for help or a quote.

Knowing the size of a filter, equipment, opening or space can help us understand what you’re dealing with before we even get there.

💦 2. Garden Hose
It’s not just for the lawn.

A regular garden hose can be useful for gently rinsing dirt and debris from your outdoor A/C coil as part of seasonal maintenance. No pressure washer — those fins can be easily damaged.

It can also come in handy when draining a traditional tank-style water heater when maintenance is required.

⚡ 3. Multimeter
This is probably the one most homeowners wouldn’t think to own.

If you’re someone who does basic DIY around your home, a multimeter can help you identify whether voltage is present and troubleshoot certain electrical issues.

But the biggest reason I recommend it is SAFETY.

Before working around anything electrical, you need to know whether power is present. And if you don’t know how to safely test it, that’s your sign to stop and call a professional.

I don’t recommend these tools because I want homeowners doing a contractor’s job.

I recommend them because I want homeowners to understand their home better, maintain what they safely can, and know when it’s time to call us.

🏠 Protect your home. Protect your investment.

Homeowners — add this to your August checklist. 🏡

Take 30 seconds and walk around your outdoor A/C unit.

If you see weeds, leaves, grass clippings or anything crowding it, clear the area around the unit.

Your system needs proper airflow to work efficiently — and little maintenance habits like this can help you catch problems before they become expensive ones.

Owning a home is expensive enough. 😅
Our goal is to help you understand what you own and take better care of it.

📌 Save this for your weekend home checklist.

And yes… the view at today’s job wasn’t bad either. 🏎️😂

A homeowner asked AI who he should trust with his HVAC.

It recommended us. 👀

But here’s the part that matters…

AI didn’t just randomly pick Rico’s HVAC.

It looked at the same things you probably look at before letting a contractor into your home:

⭐ Real homeowner reviews
⭐ Consistent customer experiences
⭐ Reputation
⭐ Quality of service
⭐ Trust

We’ve always believed that what homeowners say about us matters more than what we say about ourselves.

No paid awards. No fancy claims.

Just homeowners sharing their real experiences.

The reviews don’t lie. And neither does the people’s choice.

If you’re looking for an HVAC company you can feel comfortable calling, do what this homeowner did:

Do your research. Read the reviews. Then give us a call.
