We were tasked with rebuilding this chimney in the Scarborough Golf Club to accomodate for the Scarborough Subway Extension, but also for the birds that call it home. The Chimney Swift is a type of bird that enjoys living in chimneys - hence the name. Native to southern Ontario, they are currently listed as a threatened species. We hope they enjoy their new home. 🐦
