New carbon monoxide alarm laws are here. Is your home compliant? 🚨

As of today, Ontario’s updated Fire Code now requires carbon monoxide alarms on every storey of your home, not just near sleeping areas. This change helps ensure early detection of the “silent killer” (carbon monoxide), and gives your family valuable extra time to get to safety. CO gas is invisible, odourless, and tasteless, and the only way to detect it is with a working alarm.
