Space Concordia Space Concordia - Club spatial de Concordia The CSDC is a competition happening every two years involving universities all across Canada.

Space Concordia is a student society at Concordia University that throws its members at challenging space and aerospace projects, to yield awesome results. We win Awards at national and international competitions, we showcase our school, but most importantly: Space Concordia teaches and trains excellent young scientists and engineers through hands-on work and an attitude of persistence and collaboration. SC Spacecraft:
Our goal is designing and launching a CubeSat – a 30cm x 10cm x 10cm nanosatellite – for the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge. We have won 1rst place in 2012, placed second in 2014, and won the trophy back in 2016! SC Rocketry:
Our goal is to successfully launch experimental sounding rockets at the Intercollegiate Rocketry Engineering Competition - Spaceport America Cup every year. We have won second place for the Payload Challenge in 2015 and the next year, second place in the 10,000ft Basic Commercial Motor Category! SC Robotics:

SC Space Health:

We also have completed Special Project including developing a High Altitude Balloon, a Lunar-port, and many others. Space Concordia Outreach Program:
We also promote space interest through outreach ranging from elementary school students, to international conferences.

Meet the companies joining us for our W**e & Cheese event this Friday!

We’re excited to welcome an incredible lineup of companies from across the aerospace and engineering industries to our upcoming networking event!

This is a great opportunity for students to connect with industry professionals, learn about career opportunities, and explore the work being done across the aerospace sector, by both students and professionals. ✈️🛰️

A big thank you to all of the companies joining us and supporting the next generation of engineers and aerospace professionals!

We look forward to seeing you there! 🍷

A couple of weeks ago, we were given the privilege of hosting a day of activities as a part of the GirlSET summer camp. For this year’s edition, the participants got to work together in teams to build remote controlled forklift robots out of cardboard! This activity had participants manufacture a cardboard chassis for the robots, as well as learn how to use a simple microcontroller with servo motors to control the robots, with an integrated soldering workshop. Finally, all teams got the chance to compete in an obstacle course to see how the designs of the different teams stacked up.

It was an absolute pleasure to interact with so many passionate young women interested in various careers in STEM, and to see every team’s own robot creation! We would like to thank Dr. Goodarzi and the GirlSET camp staff for providing the foundation for this event and allowing us to share this activity with the participants. We would also like to thank Alexis Gosselin and the Concordia University Makerspace staff for facilitating this event by providing equipment and facilities to manufacture the robots.

Meet our 2026-2027 Project Managers 🛰🚀🦾!!

Our divisions work on a variety of different projects, from satellites to rockets and rovers to research projects. Without the management, oversight, and decision-making of our project managers, none of this would be possible, which is why we are excited to introduce our current roster of project managers! 🌟
