♻️ Under the Hard Hat – Michel Lebreton, Site Manager AIM Recycling Bathurst

This month, we highlight Michel Lebreton, who is celebrating 15 years with AIM, a journey defined by growth, teamwork, and pride in the work we do every day.

Looking back, Michel says the past 15 years have been incredibly rewarding. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to work alongside many great people and help build a strong team. Being part of a company that recycles materials and contributes to a more sustainable future is something he is especially proud of.

One of the things that stands out most to him is watching the team grow. Seeing people learn the industry, develop their skills, and build their own careers has been one of the most meaningful parts of his journey.

Today, as Site Manager, what he enjoys most is leading that team and ensuring the operation runs safely and efficiently. Every day brings new challenges, but working together to solve them is what makes the job so rewarding.

Over the years, Michel has also witnessed how much the site has evolved — from equipment and processes to safety standards — all contributing to a stronger and more efficient operation for both employees and customers.

For anyone starting at AIM today, his advice is simple: work hard, stay focused on safety, and always be willing to learn. With the right mindset and teamwork, AIM offers real opportunities to build a meaningful career.

Thank you, Michel, for 15 years of dedication, leadership, and commitment to the team. 💙

On International Plumbing Day, we’re highlighting the metals behind the trade.

Pipes, fittings, and fixtures don’t stop working after a renovation, they continue their journey in the circular economy. ♻️

Titanium is one of the strongest and most versatile metals in the world.

One day, it was flying thousands of feet in the sky.
Today, it can help power a pacemaker.

Titanium is found in:
✈️ Aircraft parts
🚴 Bicycle frames
🏎️ Racing car components
📱 Consumer electronics

Once recycled, it can be reused in high-precision applications —
including certain pacemakers that help maintain a steady rhythm.

That’s the circular economy in real terms.

♻️ Recycling connects industries — and supports everyday life.

At AIM, every metal has value.
