Sudden end to the 2026 season.
Last weekend, Oct 24 was the last day. It started later that day with light flurries but I was hanging around to see if it got worse.
Chris went up to close camp on Oct 27. There was some snow but not at all bad.
I went up early on the Oct 28 in heavy rain but drove through every an increasing snow storm by the time I got to camp. It came on suddenly and strong. By noon we had 6"-8" of wet slippery snow.
Job done we headed out via north route to Westwold where it had on been raining.
