After 5 inspiring years fostering innovation, supporting bold ideas, and growing a vibrant Femtech community, we’re announcing the conclusion of Tech4Eva – A joint program co-founded by EPFL Innovation Park and Groupe Mutuel.

While the program will come to an end in 2026 due to a lack of funding to continue at the standards we set for ourselves, we are incredibly proud of what was achieved together.

A huge thank you to our alumni founders, partners, mentors, supporters, and to you - the amazing community for its energy, commitment, and trust over the years. We thank Groupe Mutuel for their ongoing support over the past five years. We hope we’ve played a meaningful role in helping Femtech entrepreneurs grow and succeed — and we’ll be cheering you on in what comes next.

We invite you to follow EPFL Innovation Park for news on other health initiatives.

Innovation continues, and so does our gratitude. 💙

📢January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month
Cervical cancer begins in the cells of the cervix, the lower part of the uterus that connects to the va**na, and is almost always linked to persistent infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV). While HPV is common, a long-lasting infection can cause abnormal cervical cell changes that may progress into cancer if they are not detected early.

Cervical cancer is most frequently diagnosed in women between the ages of 35 and 64, with the average age being 50. It rarely develops in women younger than 20.

👉You can reduce cervical cancer risk by receiving the HPV vaccine, practising safer s*x, limiting the number of s*xual partners, avoiding smoking, and staying consistent with recommended screening. Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers worldwide.

Tech4Eva start-ups prioritising prevention and treatment of cervical cancer include: CareNX Diagnostics, Cc Diagnostics, Curiva, GIC Med, Timser, and Predica Diagnostics

💙Let’s come together to raise awareness about one of the most preventable cancers and take proactive steps to drive change in women’s health.

🇨🇭 Swiss Femtech Is Growing Fast 🇨🇭
We’d like to share some exciting insights from our research on the Swiss women’s health ecosystem, revealing rapid growth and innovation in Femtech since 2021📈
In just five years, the number of Femtech start-ups in Switzerland has more than doubled, from 33 in 2021 to 69 in 2025 (+109%), representing an annualised growth rate of ~21%.

But growth isn’t just about numbers. The ecosystem is also becoming more diverse and mature:
✨ Start-ups are expanding beyond reproductive health into Oncology, women-specific diseases & prevention (22%), as well as Wellness, General Health & Healthy Aging (30%).
📱 Solution types have evolved too: apps & software now represent 43% of solutions, with diagnostics at 23%, signalling a strong shift toward digital and data-driven care.
👩‍💼 And importantly, 70% of Swiss Femtech founders are women, reinforcing female leadership in shaping the future of women’s health.

Together, these trends position Switzerland as a rapidly growing and increasingly holistic Femtech hub.

The journey has just begun! 🚀 🇨🇭 We aim to inspire entrepreneurs, investors, and stakeholders to engage with a booming FemTech sector ready to shape the future of women’s health.

Women don’t need more pressure during the holiday season — they need clarity, support and tools that make wellbeing easier.
A 2024 study shows that the holiday period increases stress, irregular sleep and disrupted routines, which can affect women’s metabolic and emotional health particularly strongly.

Our Tech4Eva 2025 cohort is developing solutions that bring support where it’s most needed — when routines break, emotional load rises, and time for self-care becomes limited. Here are a few examples:

🧘‍♀️ Silatha — Emotional WellbeingEvidence-based tools to help women manage stress and mental load.
🔥 Menoqueens — Menopause InsightsAI-driven tracking for symptoms, sleep changes and energy fluctuations.
🤱 Oasicare — Postpartum SupportDigital coaching and guidance for new mothers during a hectic season.
💓 Powerly / Smartweave — Stress & Recovery SignalsWearables and smart textiles detecting strain, HRV and recovery patterns.
🔬 Predica / Rephimmune / Medsol AI — Diagnostics & Chronic CareAI-enabled tools supporting continuity of care when routines are disrupted.

Women need support, not pressure, during the festive season. Our 2025 cohort shows how technology can bring clarity, comfort and agency when it’s needed most. More info on all solutions: https://hubs.li/Q03XBxRg0

“Only 5% of healthcare research funding goes to women’s health.” 🤯
Women represent 50% of the world’s population, yet funding for women’s health innovation remains drastically under-allocated.

In our latest Mentor Talks series, Daniel Koppelkamm from Convergence Partners shares how Tech4Eva is helping change that by connecting high-potential Femtech start-ups with global investors and expanding into Asian markets through a cross-border investment strategy.

💡 “Investing in women’s health isn’t optional — it’s essential.”

At Tech4Eva, mentors like Daniel bridge innovation, impact, and opportunity — supporting start-ups that are tackling the world’s most pressing healthcare gaps.
