🏆 1st place at AIT Colombia 4 - what a journey!

Voltiris was awarded 1st place among Swiss startups at the final pitch in Medellín, taking home the CHF 10,000 prize.

From Switzerland to Colombia, this program brought together an incredible group of startups. On the Swiss side: UrbanEcho, Bluetools Solutions, Emissium, Olexir, Stride, Lightlink Instruments AG. On the Colombian side: INNFood, Almas Artesanas, COPSUN, Air4U, Dogma Biotech, Biocaffe, , , Lecture Series, and Virtual College Campus.

This achievement reflects the strength of the program and the ecosystem behind it. The AIT Colombia 4 is funded by ICETEX, the Swiss Leading House for the Latin American Region at the Institute of Management in Latin America - University of St.Gallen, and the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI, with technical support from Ruta N Medellin and Corporación Tecnnova.

Onwards - powering greenhouses with clean energy, without compromising crops. 🌱

We’re proud to be selected as part of the very first Project Switzerland 2026 Cohort — and honored to be featured alongside such an inspiring group of fellow scale-ups shaping the future of Swiss innovation.

At Voltiris, we’ve been building towards this next chapter: scaling our impact, pushing clean-tech innovation, and redefining how energy and agriculture intersect. Being part of a cohort with an average growth rate of 133% and CHF 270M+ in funding is both humbling and energizing.

Over the next 12 months, we’ll be learning from some of Switzerland’s top founders and entrepreneurs as we prepare to expand on a global stage 🌍

In collaboration with Delphy Improvement Centre, we tested our spectral-filtering solar technology in a real greenhouse bell pepper trial. The results speak for themselves:

✔️ +9% Class-I yield
