It’s a genuinely hard year for global agriculture.

Harvests are failing. Food inflation is climbing. Quality of produce is falling. And the people working the hardest to deliver are often not fairly rewarded.

But innovation is fighting back and it’s more accessible than most people think.

Real solutions are already live - not pilots or whitepapers, but actual working products.

Swipe to learn what they make possible: WeatherFlow-Tempest (https://tempest.earth/), Vineyard Vantage (https://www.vineyardvantage.com/), Common Source (https://www.common-source.org/), Mycelia (https://mycelia.life/), BRIXit (https://brixit.app/)

BSV Association has joined the Textile Exchange Community Cohort.

Their vision is direct: a fashion and textile industry that gives back more than it takes – positively impacting the lands and hands that uphold it, while benefiting soil health, water and biodiversity.

It’s an ambitious standard for such a vast and complex industry and one we’re glad to be part of.

Through our membership, we’ll bring the BSV blockchain’s unique capabilities for digital identity and traceability to the conversation and look forward to collaborating with its vast peer networks, as we continue our work on verifiable, item-level traceability for the textile industry.

Our MD nearly got locked out of his own email last month.

https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/you-know-what-happened-do-who-did-%C3%A1sgeir-th%C3%B3r-%C3%B3skarsson-uzmpe/

The account was fine.

What came back afterwards is what stuck with him.

A security alert. Full of detail. A device. A location. A timestamp.

All of it useless for answering the one question that mattered.

WHO? And therefore, why?

That's not a flaw in his inbox. It's how almost every identity check works.

They confirm a login happened.

They don't confirm who (or what) was behind it.

For years, that's been treated as close enough.

It stops being close enough right about now.

European digital identity wallets are arriving. A growing share of the "users" in your systems aren't people at all.

Neither case survives being asked to prove itself – to a regulator, a court, or someone who just doesn't believe you.

See what happens if the story goes the other way, in Ásgeir Thór Óskarsson’s full article >> https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/you-know-what-happened-do-who-did-%C3%A1sgeir-th%C3%B3r-%C3%B3skarsson-uzmpe/

AI agents holding their own wallets isn't new.

Cloudflare making it default infrastructure for a huge slice of the internet... now that's new.

It's not a small update. It's a signal:

Agent-to-agent micropayments are moving from thought experiment to infrastructure decision, at institutional scale.

We've been building toward exactly this moment for years.

Whether an agent settles through an intermediary or directly at L1, the direction of travel is the same:

Machines paying machines, constantly, in amounts too small for a human to approve one at a time.

As a member of the x402 Foundation, we're glad to see the market moving in that direction and be part of the solutions.

And we're bringing something specific to the table: on the BSV blockchain, settlement is peer-to-peer, final and priced in fractions of a cent – for when an agent needs payments instant, not reconciled later.

We're glad to be building the standard, together ► towards better.

Most browsers are built without a wallet. BSV Browser was just built with one (and so much more)

Check it out here: https://browser.bsvb.tech

Our Head of Distributed Applications, Darren Kellenschwiler, breaks down how it works.

Payments are just the start. With identity and privacy also built into its foundation, developers can build blockchain apps without stitching together five different services.

And here's the part that actually matters long-term:

BSV Browser can't be switched off by one company's bad quarter. It's open-source, built around the BRC-100 standard and is already backed by multiple wallet providers. Build on it, and your app keeps running no matter what happens to any single vendor behind it.

That's a foundation developers can build, monetise and innovate on, with confidence it'll still be standing next year.

Data sovereignty means something different depending on who you ask – individual users, businesses, developers, policymakers & regulators.

And most of those answers often miss the point:

Can you prove it?

Swipe to see where people get it wrong and discover what real data sovereignty actually looks like.

Our MD, Ásgeir Thór Óskarsson, digs into it here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/who-actually-owns-your-data-you-usually-%C3%A1sgeir-th%C3%B3r-%C3%B3skarsson-n8sbe/

What do a teacher, an engineer and a financial services professional have in common?

Impact.

And they were all stops on Ásgeir Thór Óskarsson’s road to perhaps his most impactful role yet: Managing Director of BSV Association.

Proof that there’s no single path to blockchain.

UK data law changed last month.

Turns out the real question isn’t strictly compliance. It’s proof.

While this is just one piece of legislature, Managing Director, Ásgeir Thór Óskarsson breaks down the bigger trend at play…

► What the Data Use & Access Act (DUAA) reveals about the future of digital infrastructure

► How it actually loosens UK data protections and could put businesses at risk

► What this means for businesses who treat trust as a commercial asset, not just a compliance tick-box

If you're just getting started with your Digital Product Passport strategy, you're not alone.

The battery industry is setting the pace ahead of their Feb 2027 mandates…

That means they're also the first to discover some difficult questions around data, governance and collaboration across the value chain.

Following the European Commission's latest Batteries DPP webinar and Q&A, and with our latest partnership with the Global Battery Alliance, we've pulled together the themes that stand out most right now.

Swipe to find out what they mean for organisations building their DPP strategy.

Most organisations assume they can meet Digital Product Passport (DPP) requirements by extending their existing systems.

That may be enough to get a pilot off the ground...

Perhaps even to support initial compliance.

But mandatory DPPs introduce a very different challenge: trusted, multi-party collaboration at ecosystem scale.

Traditional systems often aren’t designed to become shared infrastructure across an entire value chain – where every supplier, regulator and product contributes to, and depends on, trusted data.

To succeed, compliantly, at scale, three capabilities become essential:

► Scale
► Trust
► Accessibility

This infographic explores why shared infrastructure – not simply more integrations – is the foundation for successful DPP deployment.

Swipe to see where the capability gap opens – and how building for shared infrastructure today can become your competitive advantage as DPP regulations evolve.
