🤗 Enaex Africa recently hosted a dynamic Young Professionals event in Stellenbosch, Cape Town. This initiative underscores Enaex Africa’s commitment to upskilling and nurturing the next generation of leaders in the mining and engineering sectors.

Fifteen Young Professionals had the opportunity to gain valuable insights and experiences. This program is essential for ensuring a bright future for Enaex Africa and the broader mining industry.

🎊 Elendiane O. Anjos becomes the first female MMU operator in an underground mine served by Enaex Brasil. 🎊

When Elendiane Oliveira, 25, from Mato Grosso State, accepted Enaex Brasil's challenge of operating a MPU for an underground mine at the Nexa Service Unit, in Aripuanã, her decision sent a powerful message: that there are no limits to bringing women into mining activities.

👷‍♀️ “This journey demonstrates that we, women, are fully capable of working in areas traditionally seen as male-dominant. At Enaex, I have received full support from my managers and colleagues, who contribute to my professional growth daily”, reinforces Elendiane. Elendiane is currently studying to be a Mining Technician, complementing her practical experience in the area.

🌎✨ On World Environment Day, at Enaex we reaffirm our commitment to life, putting the safety and integrity of people first, and being environmentally responsible.

📉 We have committed to be Net Zero by the year 2050 in scopes 1 and 2, through measures such as energy efficiency, emissions reduction and the adoption of renewable energies. In addition, we have set a target of reducing fresh water consumption in water-stressed areas by 40% by 2040.

🌱 Our Sustainability Strategy, in its environmental pillar, is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which encourages us to seek innovative solutions and take concrete actions to address climate change.

🥳 Enaex Argentina together with the Honorable Consejo Deliberante de - HCD de Perito Moreno-Santa Cruz, has renewed its commitment with the community, and will continue to support the students of Perito Moreno with the Annual Scholarships throughout 2024. For this reason, a new Collaboration Agreement was signed on March 2, 2024.

We are proud to continue working together, understanding that education is the beginning of any transformation towards a better future.

📄 Enaex Argentina certified its Campanario plant, which manufactures bulk emulsions, and its Olavarría plant, which produces ANFO. Thanks to the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, we guarantee that our plants have been audited and comply with the requirements related to the safety of our collaborators and the quality and environmental management of our systems.

👨‍🏫 As part of the Year of Safety, the collaborators of our Davey Bickford plant in France attended safety briefings organized by SFEPA, the French Union of Manufacturers of Explosives and Accessories. These meetings aim to remind everyone that safety is everyone's responsibility and to reinforce best practices within the plant.

😍 At our Prillex plant of Enaex Chemicals continues to implement the Accompaniment Plan designed to encourage the outstanding team that performs various tasks in the current Overhaul-TAR.

Raimundo Díaz, People and Sustainability Manager of "Prillex", said that "we will reiterate the call for self-care and safety, as stated in our main corporate value "Our Priority, Life". We also hope that in this accompaniment and closeness that is generated when we share with the different collaborators, they perceive the genuine interest, respect and affection that Enaex shows for every person".
