NDIAN ESTATE WELFARE GAMES

The regular Welfare Games of Pamol Plantations PLC , Ndian Estate have kicked off with teams and individuals ready to win prestigious trophies available.
The opening game in football , was presided over by the Estate Manager for Ndian ,Mr Julius Halle Ngide who called on all the participating teams to showcase fair play and unity.
Mr. Halle reminded the workers and players taking part in the games of Management’s support on sporting activities apart from their regular duties.
He exalted the workers of the essence of the games which is meant to keep the workers busy and entertain the population of the camps.
Six teams are participating in the competition divided into two pools;
Pool A; Transport/Central FC
Ikassa Division FC
Mana /Makeke FC
Pool B: Bulu Division FC
Mundemba/Centre FC
Engineering /Process FC
In the opening Match on Wednesday July 29,2026, Transport/Centre FC defeated Ikassa FC 3-2 in Pool A.
Meanwhile, in Pool B, Bulu Division FC lost 1-2 to Mundemba/Centre FC on July 31, 2026.
Other games in the sporting jamboree are, Volley Ball, Draft Competition, Eggs and Spoon Race for Women and 100m Race for men.
The games shall be crowned with a football final on August 22,2026.

NDIAN CHIEFS CONGRATULATE PAMOL GM, MBILE TAPEA FOR RESILIENCE, IMPROVED PRODUCTION AMIDST OPERATIONAL CHALLENGES

Chiefs from Ndian Division have congratulated the General Manger of Pamol Plantations PLC Mbile Tapea Solomon for keeping the company afloat after being destroyed severely by the crisis touching the North West and South Regions.
This was during a working visit to the branch office in Limbe under the canopy of Ndian Chiefs conference.
Presenting their words of encouragement to the General Manager on behalf of the Chiefs, the President of NDICCO, His Majesty Alexander Motuba, saluted the innovative strides on the ten-year strategic investment project which shall transform the company and create more jobs.
‘’ Our Mission here today is to congratulate the General Manager and his entire team for the resilience commitment and sense of responsibility demonstrated in steering this great Company in one of the most difficult periods in its history’’ NDICCO President stated.
On why the special visit and congratulatory message to the General Manager of Pamol ,he said Pamol has maintained unilateral relationships with the Chiefs.
‘’Our visit today is as a result of a sincere evaluation of the state of the Company before, during and after the socio-political crisis that affected the North West and the South West Regions and particularly Pamol Plantations’’ he emphasised.
‘’Following our observation, we felt it necessary to personally come and express our admiration for the efforts the management has made to keep the company standing despite uncertainties and difficult operational conditions you remain focus and determine. Today the visible improvement and progressive transformation within the Company clearly testifies the sense of prudent management, sacrifice and leadership’’ he added.
They thumbed up the management for having navigated the plantations at the peak of the crisis and are confident there is a solution for the eradication of the company’s long-standing challenges.
They recalled the difficult moments the company had gone through and said, they will not give rooms for any distraction or action that will affect the company and their communities again.
‘’ We caution every individual whether openly or behind the scenes against engaging in acts of destabilising the Company or efforts aim at its recovery and growth ’’he continued.
The custodians of traditions equally saluted Mr. Mbile for his resilience, improvement of production despite operating with an obsolete mill that was constructed in 1967.
In reaction, the General Manager expressed gratitude to the chiefs, went ahead and addressed some of the operational challenges which have been affecting the company, unfolded measures taken to resolve the challenges.
Mr. Mbile Tapea Presented a ten-year short, medium and long-term project worth thirty-six billion FCFA that has already be tabled to the government for review and approval.
He equally appreciated government’s efforts for the survival of the Company.

Pamol Board Members, Shareholders Unanimously Adopt 2025 Accounts, Management Recruitment Plan, Promotion of Some Officers as Senior Managers
The Board of Directors of PAMOL Plantations PLC has unanimously adopted the 2025 accounts of the company after reviewing same and justifications presented by management and external auditors.
The accounts for December 2025 was adopted by the Board Members during the 65th meeting of the Board of Directors that took place on June 25, 2026 in Yaounde.
The Board equally resolved and adopted the recruitment plan of the company for the year 2026 as presented by management to enhance performance.
During the board meeting, the members went further, unanimously approved proposed officers as Senior Managers.
In the same vein, the Shareholders of Pamol held its 33rd Annual General Meeting on June 26, 2026 in Yaounde in which they approved the Board of Directors Report on the financial statements for the year 2025 and similarly approved that of external auditors.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors His Excellency Bernard Okalia Bilai encouraged PAMOL Management for their indefatigable efforts to keep the company afloat after being hampered by prevailing operational challenges.

STATE KNIGHTS PAMOLL’S NDIAN ESTATE MANAGER, JULIUS HALLE

The Estate Manager of Ndian ,PAMOL Plantations Plc Julius Halle Ngide has been decorated by the state of Cameroon with a Knight of Agriculture of Merit Medal.
Mr. Julius Halle was decorated during activities to celebrate the 54th edition of the National Day on May 20,2026 in Mundemba.
The decoration comes at a time when the Estate Manager has shown significant spirit of resilience during a very difficult dispensation when the company had been hard hit by the socio-political crisis morphed armed conflict in which the company has suffered from persistent attacks, threats, killings of workers and destruction of structures and properties allegedly by non-state armed groups.
According to his colleagues who joined him in celebration, the recipient has exhibited his administrative acumens and resilience that has made the company to rekindle the hopes of production. They saluted his decades of serving the company with dignity.
Reacting to the decoration, the Estate Manager appreciated the state for recognising his selflessness to the company and extend his appreciation to the management for paving the way for such a success and recognition.
‘’I want to appreciate the state for recognising me, is a great honour ,I equally want to thank my management for making sure such happens ‘’he concluded.
The 54th edition of the National Day was celebrated in Mundemba under the theme: National Unity: Backbone of Our Defence System, Bedrock of Development was characterised by Military parade and civilian march past and was presided over by the Senior Divisional Officer for Ndian Gilbert Baldena Guibaii.

LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION IN NDIAN:
PAMOL’S GENERAL MANAGER, MBILE TAPEA APPLAUDS WORKERS RESILIENCE, MASSIVE TURNOUT

The General Manager of PAMOL Plantations Plc, Mbile Tapea Solomon has applauded the resilience of the workers as the company confronts operational challenges.
The GM made the statement during activities to celebrate International Labour Day on May1,2026 in Mundemba.
The General Manager acknowledged the massive turnout of the workers as an unflinching sign of commitment to the company.
He affirmed, the company has been through operational difficulties and management has taken actions to ensure such problems are resolved to keep the company afloat.
The roads situation ( Mundemba -Ekondo T**i ) is completely inaccessible, Ekondo T**i -Kumba under construction which has made evacuation of crops and produce very difficult as the company is using the waters as the only means of transportation which is unwieldy and cost expensive.
‘’ When did we lastly see a tanker entering Ndian to carry oil from PAMOL, this was before the crisis, taking the oil from Lobe or Bulu to the beaches is cumbersome and very expensive before boats will ferry them in drums’’ he explained.
‘’ The mills, the boilers are obsolete in a company that is close to a century we need modern machines to speed up production’’.
Reacting on the concerns raised about irregular salary payments of recent, Mr. Mbile said, payments have begun and efforts are being redoubled to see that complete payments are done.
He enjoined the workers to stay calm, continue to put their indefatigable efforts for productivity.
Speaking on the premise of PAMOL Workers’ Basic Union and under the umbrella of Ndian Agricultural Workers, Fishers and Animal Breeding Farmers Union known in its acronym as NAWOFAU, Chief Ondator Eshumbluga PAMOL Workers representative at NAWOFAU said, they recognised management’s efforts to ensure operational maintenance despite the fact that they are operating in an atmosphere laced with security challenges and equally other efforts made to keep them afloat.
Chief Ondator reminded his peers that they have used the labour day to renew their pact with PAMOL, he went further asked from the government and social partners to give PAMOL urgent support so that the plantation can be afloat, injecting of new mills and boilers so that the youth are encouraged.
He enjoined the workers to keep the palms protected, meet their quotas and ensure they have a stronger union.
He lauded PAMOL management for great mobilisation and innovation in this year’s celebration.
Female workers of PAMOL stole the show during the celebration when they showcased, drove passed a tractor with a conductor which attracted cheering from the population.
This year’s International Labour Day was celebrated under the theme: "Social Dialogue and Decent Work: Factors of Peace, National Cohesion and Economic Development of the Company."

NAWAFAU DRILLS PAMOL WORKERS ON RIGHTS, RESPONSIBILITIES, TRADE UNIONISM LABOUR CODE

On Wednesday 7, April 2026 in Limbe, PAMOL Workers were drilled on their rights, obligations and trade unionism.
The workers were schooled under the banner of Ndian Agricultural Workers, Fishers and Animal Breeding Farmers Union with acronym, NAWOFAU.
In his presentation, Waffo Jean Rene , a labour inspector from the ministry of Labour and social security exploited the labour code delved on the rights of employees and employers’ role on how to resolve disputes between two parties.
“A dispute between employer and employee, the staff representative can handle it and inform the union, the union can mitigate if not resolve by dragging the employer to court” he stated.
He added “in a company that there is a union, the union selects the candidates of staff representative”.
Another issue raised was discreet at work which is negligible, he reminded the workers to be discreet at work place and to always inform their union on complications confronting them.

DRILL ON LABOUR DISPUTE
On the issue of disputes, the workers were told to answer queries in line with the subject evoked not to give unnecessary response that can instead aggravate and make worst a complicated situation. PAMOL workers were reminded of the necessity to tender a humble apology to management or hierarchy for a fault acknowledged.

HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

On their health and safety at work, Mr. Waffo reminded the workers of the essential part to guarantee their safety and be healthy and that if measures are not taken to be healthy it can affect their work and the company.
The workers on their part raised worries on safety and social benefit such as family allowance.
Responding to their worries raised, the President of NAWAFAU Prince Harry Beseka, assured the workers that most of their concerns shall be handled diligently.
‘’I want to assure you that most of your worries shall be handled and positive solutions shall come out of it’’ he reassured.
‘’We have started this exercise, we shall move to Lobe and to Ndian and meet workers don’t forget, make sure you are a member of the union so that your issues can be handled’’ Prince Harry Beseka expounded.
