For six years, Huadian Sihanoukville Power Generation Co., Ltd. has supported local communities in Cambodia through initiatives focused on roads, drainage, green spaces and education.
Its efforts have helped build eight roads, improve around 1,500 meters of public drainage facilities, plant more than 2,000 trees, and support improvements in local schools.

Recently, Huadian Teninskaya Thermal Power Co., Ltd. carried out a fish restocking and release activity in Russia’s Volga River basin, releasing 11,000 young sturgeons back into their natural habitat. The initiative has been carried out for eight consecutive years, contributing to the conservation of aquatic resources and the restoration of the local ecosystem.
From careful breeding to the safe release process, every step reflects a deep respect for nature. Through practical actions, China Huadian actively supports local environmental protection efforts and promotes the harmonious coexistence of overseas projects, local communities, and the natural environment.

Recently, an environmental public welfare project implemented by Huadian Bukit Asam was completed at SDN16 Primary School in Muara Enim Regency, Indonesia. The project used power plant ash to produce eco-friendly paving tiles, upgrading the school’s playground, roads and public spaces, and improving campus infrastructure.
After the project was completed, more than 200 teachers and students gained a flatter, safer and more convenient campus environment, free from muddy paths on rainy days and dust on sunny days.

Recently, Zhu Yu, Deputy Consul General of the Chinese Consulate-General in Denpasar, visited China Huadian’s Bali Power Plant in Indonesia for an exchange on energy supply, production safety, environmental protection and consular services.
The delegation visited the central control room and production areas to learn about plant operations, energy conservation and power supply efforts. The visit further strengthened communication between the consulate and the company, supporting the plant’s safe operations and localized development in Indonesia.

For young employee Yang Liyong, the digital power plant operations platform has become an important assistant in analyzing equipment conditions.
In the past, Yang would immediately contact the site team to check equipment status whenever unit parameters fluctuated. As the platform continues to evolve, its data analysis, working-condition comparison and trend prediction capabilities provide more accurate support for operations and maintenance.
From “rechecking every fluctuation” to “making steady decisions with data,” Yang and his digital “partner” are building trust through daily collaboration, combining human expertise with digital technology to safeguard safe and stable operations.

Today marks International Youth Day. Let’s step into the Lower Stung Russei Chrum Hydropower Project in Cambodia and discover Panna’s growth journey. 🌱
Starting as a newcomer unfamiliar with Chinese technical terms and operating interfaces, Panna developed his skills through the “Chinese language + hydropower skills” training program and a study exchange opportunity in China.
Today, he can independently conduct inspections, take part in unit maintenance, and support new local employees. From learning the word “hydropower” in Chinese to applying his skills on site, Panna is writing his own story of growth. 💡

Recently, China Huadian’s Lower Stung Russei Chrum Hydropower Project in Cambodia held the “Silk Road Co-building, Dreams Built with Love” donation activity at an orphanage in Koh Kong Province.
Based on the needs of the orphanage, the project donated rice, condiments, nutritional products and schoolbags to improve the children’s living and learning conditions.
Volunteers also joined the children in a painting activity, shared knowledge about safe electricity use, and checked electrical equipment and wiring. Through practical actions, the project supports the healthy and safe growth of local children.
