Good news continues to come from the transportation construction in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Recently, the main tunnel of the second bid section of the Zhuhai Xingye Expressway (Southern Section) in Guangdong Province, constructed by CFHEC, was successfully holed through. The project is 2.3 kilometers long, and the main tunnel was excavated using an ultra-large shield with an excavation diameter of 15.76 meters. This project is the first in China to apply the double-deck overlapping technique in this field. During construction, the project team successfully overcame multiple technical challenges. As a key corridor connecting the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the project will enable rapid north-south travel within Zhuhai's main urban area and strongly promote the integrated development of cities within the Greater Bay Area.

Recently, a major milestone was achieved in the development of medical infrastructure in Maysan Province, Iraq. The pile foundation works for the Maysan Hospital Project, undertaken by CFHEC, have been successfully completed, with a total of 3,215 precast piles installed, laying a solid foundation for the upcoming main structural construction.
Despite challenges such as the large volume of piles and complex geological conditions, the project team strictly adhered to design specifications and regulatory requirements, maintaining precise control throughout the construction process and systematically overcoming technical difficulties.
As a key public welfare project, this 100-bed general hospital will, upon completion, significantly enhance the local healthcare system, help address the shortage of medical resources, and improve access to medical services for the surrounding community.

Recently, the first pile cap of the Al Orouba Bridge Project in Iraq was successfully completed, marking a strong and promising start. Recently, the Kasai-Oriental Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo ushered in a new chapter in transportation development. The groundbreaking ceremony for Lot 3 of National Highway No. 1 (KM Project), constructed by CFHEC, was successfully held. As a key infrastructure project in the province, it will further improve the national road network, enhance regional transportation conditions, and support local economic development. Recently, Essong Arnold, Director General of the Directorate of Studies and Evaluation of the Ministry of Public Works of Gabon, along with his delegation, inspected the Gabon OM Highway Project constructed by CFHEC During the inspection, the Director General spoke highly of the engineering quality and construction progress of the completed sections, and put forward opinions and suggestions on relevant technical issues.
As an important extension of the eastern N4 National Highway, the Gabon OM Project stretches 92 kilometers in total length. Upon completion, it will significantly improve regional transportation accessibility, facilitate public travel and material transportation, boost local youth employment and income growth, and inject new impetus into local economic and social development.

Recently, the Gabon OM Project put care into action by organizing a special health check-up for employees, effectively safeguarding the physical and mental health of staff stationed abroad. Recently, the first-floor slab pouring of the Boys' High School (Part 1) under the Kuwait 1395 Building Project officially commenced. Faced with challenges such as limited logistics turnover, the project team adhered to overall planning and targeted measures, maintained active communication with local parties, and continuously optimized resource allocation and construction organization to ensure efficient connection of all procedures. The successful start of the first-floor slab pouring has laid a solid foundation for the full roof closure of the subsequent public building complex, and once again demonstrated the ex*****on and professionalism of the project team in overcoming difficulties and making steady progress in complex environments.

Recently, young volunteers in blue vests from the Cameroon AES Highway Project visited Lycée Notre-Dame de Lourdes, donating brand-new schoolbags and nutritious milk to the children. At the event, Chinese and Cameroonian volunteers were warmly surrounded by the kids. NGUESSON NINA, a laboratory assistant of Cameroonian nationality, joined China Communications Construction Company First Highway Engineering Bureau in 2015. "Language barriers once posed a significant challenge, but through written communication and hierarchical reporting, all issues can be properly resolved," Nina said. With the careful guidance of her Chinese colleagues, she has not only improved her professional skills in project management and quality supervision but also broken through the language barrier, making communication no longer an obstacle. She especially thanked her supervisor for the family-like care, which allowed her to integrate into the team and feel the atmosphere of unity and mutual assistance.
