Recently, the launch ceremony for CFHEC's "Seagull Talent Program" (Cameroon) was held, marking a new phase in local talent development. A community representative from Cameroon noted that the country's rapidly advancing infrastructure development demands a large number of local professionals, and that the program aligns well with vocational education reform and youth employment goals. The representative encouraged trainees to dedicate themselves to learning and become industry leaders.
At the ceremony, the "WHCP- CFHEC Jingchu Workshop (Cameroon)" and the "MINESUP-CFHEC Vocational Skills Certification Center" were also inaugurated. The Jingchu Workshop focuses on hands-on skills training, creating a vocational platform that integrates practice, demonstration, and exchange. The certification center will conduct regular training and certification programs, establishing a full "training-practice-evaluation-certification" system to provide robust support for building Cameroon's infrastructure talent pool.

Look — the first phase of the Bishoftu International Airport project in Ethiopia is in full swing. On this 12-million-square-meter site, large-scale earthwork excavation and filling of over 100 million cubic meters is progressing steadily. Leveraging a digital construction system, the project has turned its smart command center into the "brain" of the operation, enabling precise coordination and refined operations across the entire site. This is also the first time that a Chinese company has systematically implemented a digital construction system in East Africa. Currently, 2,700 pieces of equipment are working simultaneously, with a daily earthwork volume of 400,000 cubic meters, underscoring the growing advantages of digital empowerment and establishing a technological benchmark for CCCC in East Africa. Recently, good news came from the Nyong River Bridge Project in Cameroon — the project passed its completion acceptance, eight months ahead of schedule. Despite challenging geological conditions, including weak weathered rock strata, the project team overcame obstacles and delivered high-quality results, marking a significant achievement for CFHEC in large-scale bridge construction in Central Africa. The bridge will permanently replace the long-standing reliance on ferries or detours, greatly enhancing regional transport efficiency and injecting new momentum into Cameroon's economic and social development.

Recently, the KC Zone Drainage and Water Supply Expansion Project, part of the Kinshasa Project Cluster in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, successfully passed its preliminary acceptance, marking the completion of construction. The project includes drainage system construction, erosion control, and a nursery program. Once operational, it will effectively alleviate soil erosion and seasonal flooding, enhance the city's disaster resilience, and improve the local ecological environment. This livelihood project provides strong support for the improvement of capital infrastructure and the living environment.

Recently, a new milestone was reached in Xinjiang's transportation development. The Beihuang Highway, with the participation of CFHEC, successfully passed its completion inspection. The project spans approximately 113.36 kilometers and serves as a key link along the northern route of the Silk Road Economic Belt. The CFHEC section is about 36.55 kilometers, covering roadbeds, pavements, bridges, and traffic safety facilities. Upon opening, the highway will bring Beitun City into Urumqi's four-hour transport circle, significantly improving connectivity within Xinjiang's transport network and reinforcing the leading role of major trunk roads.

Recently, Clément Tukeba, project coordinator from the Government Project Monitoring Office of the DRC Ministry of Finance, led a delegation to inspect the Kinshasa KD Water Supply Project undertaken by CFHEC. The delegation praised the overall construction quality, noting that the project is a vital piece of infrastructure for improving public welfare and enhancing urban services. Clément encouraged the team to maintain high standards and accelerate progress, aiming to bring the project online as soon as possible to provide reliable water supply to local residents.

At the arrival hall of Addis Ababa Airport, CCCC staff were waiting with a backpack and stationery for eight-year-old Karl, Ethiopia's national spelling champion and a medalist in the African regional competition. He had just returned from the World English Spelling Bee in Shanghai.
Karl had earned his place through talent and hard work, but high costs nearly blocked his dream. Upon learning of this, CCCC stepped in to support him. Competing against top spellers from around the world, Karl secured sixth place in the elementary group with grit and determination. On arrival, he greeted the "CCCC uncles" with a warm smile. His mother said with emotion, "Your support made my son’s dream come true." Karl said, "I believe this is just the beginning. I want to go further and see more of the world. Thank you, CCCC, for everything." A seed of friendship and dreams is growing.
