An Inconel 718 API 6A tubing hanger — done.

Custom-shaped parts take longer than standard ones. From forging and turning to wire EDM, every step requires patience and attention to detail.

The wire EDM alone took 4 days. Not the fastest process — but to meet API 6A standards, some steps simply can't be rushed.

It may look like just a few numbers and dimensions on paper. In reality, it's the result of solid work in material and manufacturing.

The part is ready. Final sizing is left to the customer. We focus on what we do best — this step, we don't cut corners.

This ingot is being forged under the press, hit after hit. Every strike transforms its internal structure: cast dendrites are broken down, grains are refined, density increases.

A few Inconel 718 ingots just came out of the furnace. Now cooling.

The heat is slowly fading — the microstructure is stabilizing. This step can't be rushed.

From ingot to finished product, every step takes its own time.

No shortcuts. No skipping.

This valve stem is undergoing hardness inspection.
We use a Rockwell hardness tester. The principle is straightforward: a diamond indenter or carbide ball is pressed into the material surface under a specific load, and the hardness value is determined by measuring the residual indentation depth.
After the major load is applied, the indenter continues to pe*****te. Once the load is removed, the residual depth is measured. The shallower the indentation, the higher the hardness.
Advantages:
Fast operation — suitable for shop-floor batch testing
Small indentation — minimal impact on finished parts
Direct reading — no microscope required
Limitations:
Not ideal for very thin parts or shallow hardened layers
Requires relatively smooth surface finish
For valve stems, Rockwell is the preferred choice — fast, reliable, and non-damaging to finished surfaces.
Hardness passes. Valve stem ships.

Two large black-skin forged billets — fresh off the truck. Next up:cutting and sizing.

The rough exterior already holds a dense, sound structure after the first forging. After cutting, they'll be reheated and forged again, step by step, into the final shape.
