A transmitter repair is more than replacing a diaphragm.

In this video, customer-supplied Rosemount and Siemens fl**ge-seal pressure transmitters are being serviced at QISHENG. After the diaphragm seals were replaced, the units moved to the fill-fluid stage, where silicone oil is introduced into the pressure transmission system before final calibration and verification.

The recessed diaphragm design reduces the pressure-port cavity compared with conventional threaded transmitters, helping limit clogging and media buildup when measuring viscous, sticky or particle-containing liquids.

A pressure measurement package often needs more than the transmitter itself.

At Jiangsu Qisheng Automation Instrument Co., Ltd., we also supply spiral cooling elements and other pressure transmitter accessories for steam, hot water, thermal oil and boiler applications.

Installed between the process connection and the instrument, this stainless-steel cooling element dissipates heat before the medium reaches the sensing element while transmitting process pressure to the instrument.
