A friend asked me before: How do you cut cold-rolled spiral flights? Flame cutting?
My answer is: No — we use a hydraulic shear.
It gives us a clean and smooth cut, without the heat affected by flame cutting.
Sometimes, the small details in production make a big difference in the final product.

Large pitch + small inner diameter — not the easiest combination for cold-rolled spiral flights.
It requires more control during the forming process.
But look at the final shape. 👀
