From February 10th to 12th, 2026, the Solaire Expo Maroc 2026 was held in Casablanca. Representatives including Will Liao, Director of the Industrial Automation Products Department of SAJ Industrial Automation, and Hanine Daher, MENA Regional manager of SAJ-APAC&MENA along with local strategic partner SOFA Maroc, showcased their high-performance PDS33 series at the event, once again making a significant contribution to the market.
On the first day of the exhibition, the customer booths were bustling with installers and end customers. SAJ team showcased the company's technological strength in industrial automation and photovoltaic water pumping through various means, including product demonstrations, case studies, and technical sharing.
The PDS33 series solar pump controller leads the industry with three core advantages: support for wide voltage input, easily coping with severe sunshine fluctuations; standard AC/DC compensation and diesel generator control functions, enabling seamless coupling with various diesel generators and energy storage systems; and improved energy conversion efficiency through the patented MPPT algorithm, providing stable and reliable green power solutions for scenarios such as agricultural irrigation and water supply in remote areas, truly realizing the sustainable development concept of "sunlight-driven water sources".
On February 11, 2026, Hanine Daher, the Middle East and North Africa Regional Manager, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with a core Moroccan customer at the exhibition on behalf of SAJ. Both parties will leverage their respective R&D advantages and local channel layout to focus on innovative areas such as solution optimization, agricultural-solar integration and energy storage system coupling, to promote the development of Morocco's agricultural economy and realize the green and environmental protection cause with clean energy.
Morocco has become one of the world's three fastest-growing agricultural exporters, becoming the second-largest supplier of fruits and vegetables to neighboring Spain in 2024. Supported by the abundant sunshine and modern production systems in the Sousse-Massa region, Morocco currently exports approximately 690,000 tons of tomatoes annually, a 19% increase year-on-year. Non-round varieties account for 58% of exports, providing stable supplies to the UK, Germany, and Nordic markets. In citrus, "Nadorcott," developed and patented by the Moroccan National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA) in 1995, remains the country's flagship variety. Citrus exports reached 597,000 tons in 2024-2025, a 31% increase year-on-year, ranking third among African citrus exports, after South Africa and Egypt. Other exports include avocados, cucumbers, bell peppers, and berries. Blueberry exports, in particular, have tripled in the past five years and have successfully entered the international high-end retail market.
