Following the successful development of Excelsior, and UCL Rocket continue their collaboration to explore the next stage of advanced propulsion development. πŸš€

This time, the team advanced from an N2O-based architecture to a cryogenic LOX / IPA regeneratively cooled rocket engine, bringing new challenges in thermal management, material performance, and manufacturing control.

With key CuCrZr engine components, including the combustion chamber and injector head, produced through Eplus3D technology, UCL Rocket successfully completed its first hot-fire test of the cryogenic engine system.

This milestone represents more than a successful build. It demonstrates how can help transform complex propulsion concepts into test-ready hardware.
