A major step forward for thalassemia care in Egypt 🇪🇬

Thalassemia affects thousands of families in Egypt—and recently, we took a significant step toward changing that reality.

We had the honor of meeting online with the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA). This was more than a meeting—it’s the beginning of a powerful partnership.

Our focus? Moving our gene therapy program from the lab to the lives of those who need it most.

Our goal? A potential one-time treatment that brings lasting relief to patients.

Collaboration turns innovative science into accessible hope.

Here’s to writing a new future for β-thalassemia care—together.

📽️ Throwback to a moment that still moves us forward.

This , we're looking back at a message that continues to shape who we are and why we do what we do.

Earlier this month, our Founder and CEO, Dr. Haoqian Wu, shared a heartfelt message with the thalassaemia community — speaking not just about the science of gene therapy, but about the soul of our mission: ensuring that groundbreaking treatments reach every patient who needs them, no matter where they are.

🎬 Watch the video again below.

That message remains just as urgent today. Because every diagnosis still waiting for an answer. Every family still hoping for options. Every caregiver still showing up — they are why Kanglin Bio exists.

Thank you, Dr. Wu, for reminding us that visibility leads to value, and value must lead to action.

We're proud to stand with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and advocates around the world. Together, we are .

🔁 Repost this throwback if you believe in accessible, patient-centred gene therapy for thalassaemia.

✨This , we at Kanglin Bio take a moment to reflect on what drives us every day in the lab, in the clinic, and in conversation with patients and families.

🎤We're proud to share a message from our Founder and CEO, Dr. Haoqian Wu. In it, he speaks not only to the science we're building — innovative gene therapies for thalassaemia and beyond — but to a deeper commitment: making sure that what we build reaches those who need it most.

✔️Because transformative science without accessible treatment is only half the story.

🌍Thank you, Dr. Wu, for reminding the thalassaemia community that our work is, and always will be, patient-centred. And thank you to every researcher, clinician, advocate, and family who continues to push for progress — together, we are .
