Two ball screws can look very similar and still behave differently inside a machine.
Diameter is only one part of the specification.
A ball screw data table may also include lead, ball diameter, number of circuits, dynamic load rating, static load rating and stiffness.
Each describes a different part of the mechanical relationship between the screw, nut, load and required travel.
For example, lead is directly connected to how much linear travel is produced from screw rotation, while load ratings and stiffness describe different aspects of how the assembly operates under load.
This is why selecting a ball screw from diameter alone leaves too much of the application unanswered.
Start with the axis requirement, then read the specification table.
