Regus Toe Jack Operation Precautions
I. Precautions for Installation upon Arrival
Wrap PTFE tape on all hydraulic fitting connections. Tighten all male and female couplings completely without any gaps. Improper sealing may block the oil circuit, resulting in failure of jack extension or retraction.
After assembly, run the jack through 5–6 full extend-retract cycles without load to bleed trapped internal air.
If retraction still operates sluggishly:
• Lightly apply grease to the inner cylinder wall (grease is pre-applied at factory).
• Loosen the top black bolt by two turns. Do not fully remove it.
Please be noted.
II. Precautions for Pressure Release
Pay close attention to the connection between elbow fittings, female couplings and hoses.
Keep clear of the outer cylinder during pressure release.
When pressure is released, the outer cylinder retracts rapidly. It may crush elbow connectors and cause serious hazards.
III. Precautions for Battery-powered Hydraulic Pump
Replace 15 # hydraulic oil every 3 months.
When reconnecting hydraulic lines, clean off residual PTFE tape debris from fittings, re-wrap PTFE tape and reconnect all ports.
