How to detect the quality of floating bodies:
1、 The buoyancy of a floating body: Generally, it is required to be greater than 30% of the weight of the pipeline itself (including mud with a specific gravity of 1.3). When the pipeline is working, the height above the water surface is about 1/4 of the height of the steel pipe.
2、 The overall weight of the floating body: not less than 3-5% of the ordering parameters, because the weight of the floating body is related to the weight of the floating body's shell, the specific gravity and volume of the floating body's foam, and it is difficult to guarantee the strength of the plastic shell and the specific gravity of the foam for the floating body whose weight is too light. The specific gravity of foam shall be about 35 kg/m3.
3、 Plasticization degree of floating plastic shell: The internal surface of a well plasticized floating body should be flat and smooth, without obvious particles.
4、 Density of filled foam: generally about 35kg/m3. At this point, the tensile strength is around 0.2MPA. Slightly elastic, non stick and non brittle are considered qualified. Only floats that meet the above product standards are truly durable and good floats.
5、 Floating foam holes: Welding must be firm, and repair welding should be carried out when there are leaks.
