Starting January 1, 2026, China will implement export license management for certain steel products, covering 300 customs commodity codes. Enterprises are required to apply online with their export contracts and quality inspection certificates.

This adjustment by China's Ministry of Commerce has nothing to do with taxes. It only requires companies to apply for export licenses through the Ministry of Commerce when exporting. The implementation of this policy prevents the possibility of using third-party export licenses, so all exports must now be declared for tax purposes in the companies' own names.

ASME SA210 / SA210M

SA-210C is a steel grade under the ASME standard, classified in the category of medium-carbon manganese steel pipes for boilers, superheaters, and pipelines. As a pearlitic heat-resistant steel, it exhibits excellent cold and hot working properties as well as weldability. SA-210C is widely used in 300 MW and 600 MW large-capacity power plant boilers for components operating at temperatures below 500°C, such as water walls, economizers, low-temperature superheaters in heating surface tube systems, as well as headers, steam/water pipelines, and other applications. During production, each SA-210C steel tube undergoes individual hydrostatic testing, ultrasonic testing, and eddy current inspection. Additionally, anti-corrosion treatment is applied to the products.
