Another Sunways system goes live – this time at a rice trader's shop in Colombo's bustling Pettah Market.

This 5kW installation is more than just another project. It's a real-world example of how energy storage is becoming essential for small businesses in Sri Lanka.

The setup:
📍 Pettah Market, Colombo
🔹 STH-5KTL-LS hybrid inverter
🔹 STE-NS16 16kWh battery

How it works: Operating in UPS mode, all critical loads – air conditioning, PC, lights, fans – are connected to the backup side, with the battery acting as a power bank. When the grid drops, the system switches instantly, keeping the business running without interruption. ⚡

For a rice trader, even a short outage means lost sales and spoiled inventory. This system delivers more than energy savings – it delivers business continuity. 📦
