🚀 Project Kickoff | Custom FSR Vests for Gel Blaster Fun 🎯
We’ve just started an exciting new project with a client who runs a Gel Blaster arena — where players battle it out using toy blasters that shoot gel balls. Our mission? Create custom smart vests powered by FSR (Force Sensing Resistor) sensors to make the game even more immersive.

🔹 How It Works
When a gel ball hits the vest, the FSR sensor detects the impact and the LED light instantly switches from blue 🔵 to red 🔴, signaling a hit!

The vests will feature sensors on both front and back:
👕 Adult Vest: 30cm × 30cm per side
👕 Child Vest: 20cm × 20cm per side

🌍✨ A Collaboration Story Across Half the Globe | Final Chapter 🎉

The first samples were delivered — and the client’s feedback was clear:
✔️ Panel size & connections matched perfectly
✔️ Green & red LEDs looked great
⚠️ Yellow LED needed more brightness & better positioning
⚠️ Logo backlight wasn’t evenly lit

💡We quickly refined the design and sent a second round.
☀️This time, the client spotted side light leakage and felt the yellow LED was still weak under sunlight .
Together, we tested alternatives — and found blue LEDs performed much better.
The client agreed, and the change made all the difference.

✅ The Result
The project ended in success — the client placed an order for 500 units 🚀.

The design journey didn’t stop there. After our first feedback, the client made several updates:
✨ A dual-color light in the top corner
✨ A sleek black panel to resist UV & chemical aging
✨ More LEDs for stronger backlighting
One week later, they refined it again — adding their logo and reshaping the backlit button area for better usability 💡.
Seeing the larger backlit zones, we suggested a smarter approach: side-emitting LEDs + light guide film. With this, we kicked off the first sample production 🚀.
