I was NOT planning to write this post. I was planning to just reorder my Relief Sun like I do every couple months and move on with my life. Except it was sold out. Again. Third restock in a row I've missed.
So, being a mildly unhinged skincare person, I did what any of us would do — ran a few "why does this actually work" checks with my AI skin-analysis routine on three Beauty of Joseon dupes people kept bringing up as substitutes, and actually used them for about three weeks instead of just vibing off reviews. Here's the tea. Some of it good, some of it "fine I guess," and one that I'm genuinely still using even now that the Relief Sun is back.
Why I didn't just... wait
Beauty of Joseon is kind of a victim of its own hype at this point, honestly. It blew up for being gentle and effective without being $80 a bottle, and now that everyone knows that, good luck finding it in stock long enough to actually settle into a routine with it.
