I would like to share the following;
Introduction of PTFE grid sheet supports and supports for enamel towers:
Due to the poor welding performance of PTFE, it is difficult to make supporting grid sheets by welding soluble plastics.
At present, PTFE packings are assembled in lined PTFE towers or other internal anti-corrosion tower equipment.
The main process used for the support sheet is to use the PTFE molded sheets to drill into porous sheets.
The packing support device is one of the main accessories of the packed tower, and the free cross-sectional area of the support device is required to be larger than the free cross-sectional area of the packing layer.
The packing support grid is a simple and commonly used packing support device. It is placed on the support welded to it. Cast iron support grids have long been used in the Chlor-alkali industry and in industry.
However, when filling random packings, large-sized cross baffle rings can be placed neatly on the grid strips, and the size and specifications depend on the type of packing in the tower.
If the packing in the tower is too small, place several layers and reduce the size in turn, so that the random packing on the top is not easy to fall, so that the distance between the grid sheets can be increased to save materials and processing time.
The support sheets are determined as per the following factors:
The diameter of the tower, the ovality of the tower body, the diameter of the grave material, the height of the material layer, the manufacturing, and installation, and the disassembly of the grid plate. The diameter of the tower is smaller, and a monolithic grid sheet is used. When the tower diameter is less than 350mm, the grid plate can be directly welded on the tower wall. When the tower diameter is 400-500mm, the grid plate needs to be placed on the supporter welded to the tower wall. When the diameter is larger, the block grid should be used.
When the tower diameter is 600-800mm, the grid sheet consists of two pieces. When the tower diameter is 900-1200mm, the grid plate consists of three pieces. When the tower diameter is 1400-1600mm, the grid plate consists of four pieces. However, no matter how many grid sheets are divided, they need to be recruited on the supporter or support block welded to the tower wall, and the supporter of the large tower has to use the support sheet.
Segmented grid, each with a width of 300-400mm. The weight of each piece should not be too heavy so that it can be loaded and unloaded from the entry hole. In order to increase the rigidity of the grid sheet, the upper and lower connecting plates must be added for the grid plate with a tower diameter greater than 900mm. However, when used to support corrugated packing, the connecting plate is not required.
