Application of anti GFP beads:
Anti-GFP beads provide rapid and effective one-step immunoprecipitation, which can specifically pull out the target protein and its interacting factors from cells and tissues. Anti GFP beads are based on agarose beads or magnetic beads, covalently coupled with Alpaca single domain antibodies with high affinity and specificity. It is also suitable for the analysis of various biochemical reactions：

Compared with the traditional antibody (composed of two heavy chains and light chains), alpaca contains a second antibody, called heavy chain antibody (HCAB), which is composed of only two heavy chains. HCAB has no light chain and binds to the antibody through a single variable region on the heavy chain, also known as nanobody or VHH. VHH has excellent antigen binding ability, and can be produced stably with high quality, avoiding the difference between batches of traditional antibodies.

Nanobody may prevent COVID-19 Infection

A study (https://lnkd.in/gp_tdid) shows that naturally alpaca nanobody may help prevent infection with SARS-CoV-2. Researchers at Karolinska Institutet in Sweden have identified a small neutralizing antibody, also-called nanobody, that has the capacity to block SARS-CoV-2 from entering human cells. The researchers believe this nanobody has the potential to be developed as an antiviral treatment against COVID-19.
