How to Connect Multiple Batteries in Parallel?

In this video, we demonstrate the complete process of battery parallel connection, communication cable wiring, DIP switch settings, and battery monitoring configuration.

Proper installation and communication settings are essential for ensuring stable operation and accurate data transmission between batteries and the inverter.

Step 1: Prepare the wire materials required for the battery

Place the battery in the correct position,Connect the positive terminals of the batteries that need to be paralleled,Then connect the negative poles of the batteries that need to be paralleled,After the connection is completed, connect the inverter。

Step 2: Connect the battery communication cable,The battery connected to the inverter serves as the main unit 485B is connected to 485A of the second unit。

Connect the battery 485B of the second unit to the third unit 485A

Note: If more batteries need to be connected, follow this method and deduce by analogy

After the connections are completed, connect the 485 port of the battery that is connected to the inverter to the BMS of the inverter

Next, set the DIP switches in the sequence of 1, 2, 3 according to the DIP switch configuration we provided

Then prepare the USB to RJ12 communication cable

(Note: The communication cable needs to be purchased by the customer)

Connect the USB interface to the computer, and connect the other end to the RS232 port of the first battery

Open the communication software

Click on "Redundancy Monitoring" and then “Start Monitoring” to view the battery capacity and various information of the three batteries
