Tips of Solar Bracket Industry in Rainy day

Dear Customer/Partner：

The rainy season is coming, in order to ensure that your stored PV racking in a humid and rainy environment to maintain good status, to avoid rust, corrosion, deformation and other problems, we provide the following storage and maintenance advice.

I. Storage environment requirements

1. Choose the storage space.

Prefer dry, well-ventilated warehouse for indoor storage.

If need to outdoor storage, should choose the area with higher terrain, smooth drainage, and ensure that the bottom of the pad high, avoid direct touch the ground.

2. Moisture-proof and rain-proof measures.

Cover with waterproof sheets, the edges of which should be fixed tightly to prevent rainwater from flowing in.

Avoid long-term storage in the open air, especially for the bracket with thin galvanised layer or without surface treatment.

II. Storage standard

1. Bracket materials should be classified and stacked tidily to avoid deformation caused by pressure.

2. Place anti-slip cushions between layers and keep spacing for air ventilation.

3. It is forbidden to be mixed and stored with chemicals and corrosive chemicals.

III. Regular inspection and maintenance

1. Check the integrity of the sheeting every week and repair the damage in time.

2. Inspect in time after the rain to remove the accumulated water and check the bracket for rust or plating shedding.

3. Wipe the rust immediately with a dry cloth and apply anti-rust paint or zinc powder to repair.

Special Note:The high humidity environment during the rainy season will quicken the metal corrosion, please make sure to strengthen the protection!
