What if Li-S Batteries of 728Wh/kg, driving electric bicycles for 615 kilometers, are applied to drones?
On Dec 3rd, C-Value Tech, a Chinese drone battery manufacturer, tested the flight time of UAV with Li-S batteries. Li-S Battery powered the tested drones for 124min of flight time.
Statistics show that most drones in the UAV market cannot fly over one hour. According to this data, C-Value has conducted a comparative test with Li-S and Li-Ternary batteries of same weight.
Results show that this common drone can fly 43 min with full-charged Li-Ternary battery while it can fly 124min with full-charged Li-S battery. Compared with Li-Ternary battery, Li-S can power the drone for 2.9 times of the flight time driven by Li-Ternary.
This new-born “Black Technology” Li-S Battery researched and developed by C-Value Tech, has surpassed over 80% of flight time driven by Hydrogen batteries. Li-S Battery can be one of the longest UAV batteries in terms of flight time.
UAV experts are convinced that this breakthrough made by C-Value will provide new possibilities for Drones and small aircraft in Low-Altitude economy, Robotic dogs, Robotic Wolves, Unmanned ships and fieldwork electric equipment. -Value Tech
