This unit is used for pelletizing PEEK [polyetheretherketone] + 50% carbon fiber. The client might be new to producing such pellets, and we also had limited manufacturing experience with this type of equipment. Guided by a mutual spirit of cooperation and shared success, we managed to build this device. Although the pelletizing process was not entirely smooth or satisfactory, we fortunately achieved success in the end. In my view, there is still room for improvement in the pre-processing, mixing, and production techniques of the material. With a carbon fiber addition ratio of 50%, the resulting strands have a rough surface with tree-branch-like protrusions, suggesting that the process could be refined. From an equipment perspective, the strand pulling and pelletizing functions—meaning the equipment itself—are fine, though the overall setup could be optimized. This experience will be valuable for future projects involving similar equipment.
