Building demolition often starts with one of the biggest challenges β€” breaking through reinforced concrete structures.

During this demolition work, the excavator continues removing concrete sections while exposed steel reinforcement appears across the site. Handling these materials requires the right working method and equipment for different construction conditions.

Every demolition project has its own challenges, from material strength to working space limitations.

Strong teams build stronger futures.

Behind every DAEKKO hydraulic breaker, there is a team of people working together with dedication, cooperation, and passion.

Recently, the DAEKKO team took a break from our daily routines and visited Yandang Mountain for a team-building activity. Through outdoor experiences, team challenges, and shared moments, we strengthened our connections and created new memories together.

A great team is not only built in the workplace. It grows through trust, communication, and the experiences we share along the way.

At DAEKKO, we believe that teamwork is one of the foundations for continuous improvement and long-term growth.

Looking forward to moving ahead together and creating more possibilities in the future.

Rock excavation inside a tunnel is different from open-site breaking work.

Limited working space, restricted visibility, and uneven rock conditions make every impact more critical. Operators need to carefully control the breaking direction and maintain steady progress while working close to the tunnel structure.

In this site, the hydraulic breaker is working on hard rock at the left side of the tunnel entrance, helping create space for the next stage of excavation.

What challenges do you think are the most difficult when breaking rock in tunnels?

Breaking reinforced concrete surfaces is often less about force and more about maintaining consistent impact during demanding ground conditions.

In road renovation and demolition work, operators need equipment that can handle repeated impacts while keeping the workflow stable throughout the operation.

This site shows a concrete pavement removal process where controlled breaking helps prepare the surface for the next stage of construction.

Real job sites reveal the challenges behind every project β€” from material hardness to working efficiency.

What factors do you consider most important when choosing equipment for concrete demolition?

Breaking hard rock in mountain terrain is rarely a straightforward job.

Uneven ground, difficult access, and changing rock conditions can all affect how a site is approached. In this 30-second field clip, a hydraulic breaker continues working through hard rock as the material gradually gives way.

No staged demonstration. Just a real job site and the work in progress.

DAEKKO β€” Built to Break. Engineered to Last.

Heavy excavators standing firm on a tough jobsite, blue DAEKKO hydraulic breakers ready for action. In hard rock and demanding conditions, reliability isn't optional β€” it's everything.

These breakers are built to handle the punishment day after day, helping contractors keep projects moving even when the material fights back.

What’s the most challenging material you’ve had to break on your site lately?

DAEKKO β€” Built to Break. Engineered to Last.

Hard rock is not just about breaking through a tough surface.

The real challenge is often what happens underneath:

The rock is extremely dense.
The surface may look solid and uniform.
But the internal structure can vary significantly from one section to another.

This means the breaker has to deal with changing resistance throughout the job. A method that works well on one section may not produce the same result a few meters away.

That is why hard rock breaking is often less about simply applying more force β€” and more about maintaining consistent impact and matching the working conditions.

Every site has its own challenges.

What is the hardest material your breaker has had to work through?
